At CCA, we’re focused on preserving our coastal environments and educating the public on sustainable practices to protect marine resources. Our aim is to ensure that these valuable ecosystems thrive today and for generations to come.
Join us at the Baton Rouge Banquet and begin your journey in supporting the conservation efforts that keep our coastal waters thriving.
Why you should attend?
With each ticket, dinner provided by Catering Cajun and drinks provided Mockler Beverage/Michelob Ultra are included as well as a full open bar. For only $75, you can entertain friends or family with dinner, drinks and support a great cause.
We will have plenty of raffles for all types of items from fishing and hunting equipment to jewelry and art. We will also have silent and live auctions during the night. This list will continue to be updated until the time of the event.
This is one of Baton Rouge’s largest networking events of the year with well over 1500 people in attendance. In addition to Baton Rouge residents, you will also have the opportunity to meet some of the best saltwater anglers and the sponsors that make this entire event possible.
CCA has been on the forefront of fisheries management and fisheries habitat for over 40 years. All of the funds raised at this event allows us to continue the important work of protecting and preserving Louisiana’s marine resources. Every dollar raised stays in Louisiana for YOUR coast. Along with dinner and open bar, a 1-year membership to CCA is also included, giving you a voice in conservation.
What do we do
Louisiana Marine Resources Conservation
CCA Louisiana has partnered with local and national companies to sustain its conservation and habitat program. This program builds artificial reefs and floating islands, promoting new fish habitats and replacing disappearing lands along the coast and beyond.

Habitat & Conservation
CCA Louisiana is affiliated with the nation’s largest and longest running fish tagging program and numerous research studies with LSU and ULL. Information from tagged, recaptured fish and coastal studies is compiled and shared with state and federal fisheries managers to help make sound science-based decisions about our fisheries.

Advocacy
CCA Louisiana’s policies and positions are directed by our members through our Government Affairs Committee, which consists of members from across the State. CCA employs advocacy teams in Baton Rouge and in Washington, D.C., who take their direction directly from the National and State Boards of Directors.

Education
A program designed to educate, excite and intrigue youth and adults about recreational fishing and conservation of our marine resources, STEM Y’all is an educational video series aimed to expose school-aged children to Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
